About Us

The Omaha Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance received its charter in November 1976 from the American Society of Women Accountants.  We are focused on providing our members with:

Quality long-term professional and social relationships

Leadership and Growth Opportunities

Continuing Professional Education

Scholarship Opportunity

Community Awareness and Involvement

We meet monthly, offering a variety of meeting programs including featured speakers, social activities and the opportunity to earn 10 hours of CPE each year.

Everyone is provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and network with professionals with similar business and personal interests.

Our Annual Public Relations Dinner is held each Spring. Dinner is preceded by an afternoon of education, providing up to 4 hours of CPE.  A special guest speaker provides entertainment for the dinner and our basket raffle generates thousands of dollars for our scholarship fund!

Mission

The mission of the Chapter is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional, and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
